Climate change is probable the most important environmental challenge facing our region in this century. In view of the scientific evidence of climate change and its potential associated impacts and within the framework of national and international policies on this topic, the Environmental Department of the Cantabrian Regional Government has drafted its 2008-2012 Action Strategy for Climate Change in Cantabria.

This website is yet another step forward in our actions to make Cantabrian society aware of the importance of the phenomenon we are facing and of the work being carried out by the Regional Government of Cantabria to promote the involvement of society in general in this huge global challenge.
